Professor Chen: LED enters the field of lighting. This is the gospel of scientific and technological progress and humanity. It has many advantages and great potential, but it has not yet become the main force in the field of lighting, and it has to be researched, developed and improved. Now everyone is paying attention, encouragement and full financial and energy investment. It is very necessary and good at LED progress, but it is too high or easy to be rated as the "most" grade. This is hard for Chinese people of our age. Accepted, according to the experience I have experienced in the past, my idea is to be more pragmatic and effective.
Qianjia.com: I read the latest information about LED products and found that their products are mainly used in automotive lighting and outdoor lighting, but not indoor lighting. Do you think there is any difficulty in using LEDs for indoor lighting?
Professor Chen: LED has been widely accepted in decoration, landscape, signal, traffic lights, garden lights, car lights and some special-purpose lighting, but its heat dissipation, optical design, single-frequency power and output luminous flux The price/performance ratio is still unsatisfactory, and of course the light effect needs to be further improved. At present, the luminous efficacy of commercial white LEDs is still 50-60lm/W, and the price of 1W white LEDs is about RMB 30. These need to be improved and improved to make more use of indoor lighting.

Professor Chen: In combination with LED and solar energy, wind energy has advantages in application due to its low-voltage driving characteristics, and human existing traditional energy sources such as oil, coal, natural gas and nuclear energy are all within 200 years. To be exhausted, it is effective to promote renewable energy such as solar energy and wind energy. LED lighting is an inevitable trend in this respect, and it also has considerable advantages.
Qianjia.com: The coastal cities in southern China are cloudy and uncertain. During the rainy season, the sun is not enough, and the wind is not large. Will these factors affect the promotion of solar energy and wind energy?
Professor Chen: These problems can technically solve the problems of insufficient sunshine and limited wind energy, and even adopt a strategy of complementary Power Supply and renewable energy. The problem is still the practical problem of inefficient use of solar and wind energy and high cost.
