System Overview

Application principle:

Advantages of using PCI-9014: Position comparison triggering on hardware. In the points A and B, set the position of the point to be compared, fill in the position comparison FIFO, and then when the X axis moves from point A to point B at a speed of 3m/s, when the position in the FIFO is detected, The hardware immediately gives a trigger signal to trigger the camera to take a picture. Fast, efficient, and increased productivity.

Application principle:

The principle of the line camera: shooting multiple lines into a picture. PCI-9014's location comparison FIFO's fixed size is 512 location points, each case needs to trigger tens of thousands of points, so in the process of running the axis needs to use the thread to write the position comparison point continuously, and trigger the line array through position comparison. The camera takes every line of pictures.

The detection precision of the product size in the inspection system is very high, about 5 u. In this case, an external encoder is used to transfer the relative displacement information of the product and the camera to the motion control card PCI-9014. The X-axis runs at a speed of 1M pps. A hardware trigger signal is given at each point (100 pulse intervals) to be photographed to trigger the camera to take a picture. The location of the hardware trigger is pre-written into the FIFO of the comparator. The hardware position comparison trigger speed is 100ns to trigger the camera to take a picture once, and the camera completes the dimension detection.
