This new IC replaces today's multi-chip solutions with a single ultra-compact RFCMOS device, demonstrating a major breakthrough in simplifying the development of high-performance infotainment platforms.
The SAF4000 is software-defined, so it simplifies the logistics process for automotive OEMs: with the firmware update at the end of the line, a single hardware device can meet the broadcast requirements of all regions without the need to provide many different hardware and software products around the world.
