PHICOMM Fiji K2P Play Raiders One: # Original Innovator #PHICOMM Fiji K2P OpenWrt, Dynamic DNS

I’ve been using K1 before, and lately, I decided to try K2P to gradually implement some of the features I needed. I’ll take my time sharing my experience with everyone and see how it goes. Fiji K2P AC1200 Smart Dual Band Full Gigabit Wireless Router with Wired/Wireless Dual Gigabit WiFi Wall is priced at 799 Yuan on Jingdong. This post is mainly composed of several parts, some of which are sourced from the internet. 1. Enable the official firmware telnet function; 2. Flash it into Breed bootloader; 3. Install OpenWrt firmware (which offers more flexibility); 4. Configure dynamic DNS (using 3322.org) for external network access; Please note: For external network access, your router needs to connect and obtain a public IP address. If your telecom provider cannot assign a public IP, you may contact their customer service at 10000 to request one. I’m not sure if other providers offer similar services. After everything is set up, you can access the router’s management page from an external network. You can also remotely access any network device within your local network. This post covers just the basics. In future posts, I’ll explore more advanced uses such as: Using the router’s USB2.0 port to install aria2 for offline downloading (for external management); Waking up devices in your local network (remote boot) via the router for easier management (like PCs or NAS). If we have time, we’ll dive deeper into how to maximize NAS functionality. Opening the Official Firmware Telnet Function: To enable telnet, you'll need to use the device's MAC address to retrieve its configuration file via Dashen’s online tool and restore it to the device. Check out this detailed guide for more information. Flashing into Breed Bootloader: Download the Router Flash Breed Web Console Assistant tool. After decompressing, run it and configure it as follows: Set the username and password to match those of the router (the newer versions allow changing the password, but the default username is admin). Select the appropriate model version, open K2P; Choose a general flash program since we've already manually enabled the router’s telnet function. I initially tried the default auto-program, but it failed on my WIN10 system. Leave other options as default. Once everything is correctly set, click “Start Flash” and follow the prompts. After the flashing process completes, the device will reboot automatically. Flashing OpenWrt Firmware: Firmware link: Password: n116 Access the Breed recovery console by unplugging the router’s power, holding the reset button, plugging it back in, releasing the reset button after 5 seconds, and entering 192.168.1.1 in your browser. Select the downloaded system firmware as shown below: Just check the firmware and upload the selected file. Setting Up Dynamic DNS (3322.org): For dynamic domain name resolution (to ensure the domain points to the router's external address), after updating the firmware, log into the system interface, go to Services → Dynamic DNS → Modify myddns_ipv4 settings as shown below: After entering the modification page, proceed as follows: Basic settings: Select Enable → Lookup Hostname to fill in the full domain name you applied for → Select Service Provider → Domain also fill in the full domain name applied for → Username: root → Password: set the update password you created in the pubyun management background, then click Advanced Settings as shown below: After completing the advanced settings as shown in the image, click Save & Apply in the lower right corner to validate the settings. Port Forwarding Setup (for external network access to the router management page): Click on Network → Firewall Settings and click Save & Apply in the lower right corner for the settings to take effect: On the firewall page, click Port Forwarding and add the following forwarding rules: The share name is free to fill in; Protocol selection TCP; External area default wan; The external port is free to fill in, 0-65535 (Note that port 80 is not recommended for this time, as many carriers have blocked it. Also, make sure not to fill in a port that conflicts with other services. Students who are unsure are encouraged to leave it blank); Internal area default lan; Internal IP address selects the router’s IP; Internal port fill 80. Fill in and click Add. Click Save & Apply. Then on the external network, you can access the router management page through the domain name + port number. The intranet cannot access the domain name (there is a reason for this). (End of article) For more advanced gaming experiences, please stay tuned for follow-up articles. Any omissions are welcome to be corrected, and students with questions are welcome to submit them. You can reply or send a private message. Follow-up content will include more gameplay ideas, including but not limited to: Installing aria2 on the router's USB2.0 port for offline downloading (for external management) Waking up devices in the local network (remote boot) at any time through the router for easier use and management (such as PCs, NAS) If we have time, we will further explore the various ways NAS can play.
