Finally, Ms. Li and promoters repeatedly plugged in and tried out, only to find that the problem was originally on the USB power adapter. Originally this desk lamp's power interface is USB, the manufacturer also distributed a USB power adapter at the same time, Ms. Li uses the problematic product that the packaging company distributes at home, but the promoter uses a different adapter while trying out the product.

Compared with Ms. Li, the consumer's experience is even more depressing. Four years ago, Mr. Qu bought a well-known brand rechargeable game console for his son. Not long ago, the battery was not charged. Mr. Qu thought that it was a problem with the battery. He went to buy a new rechargeable battery and switched it on. However, he still couldn't charge the battery. At last he asked a friend who knew the electricity to test it before he knew it was a problem with the charger.

In the interview, the reporter found that many consumers have encountered similar problems, and some small home appliances can still operate normally, but the quality of gadgets such as power adapters and chargers has often become a shortcoming of product quality. At the same time, the quality of spare parts inspections by national and local agencies is not optimistic.

At the end of September 2011, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China reported the product quality test results of small and medium-sized power transformers in the country: of the 87 products produced by 87 companies in 19 provinces and cities sampled, 22 products failed. The main problems are short-circuit impedance and load loss measurements, no-load current and no-load loss measurements, temperature rise tests, and partial discharge measurement items. In the above case, Ms. Li told reporters that although the promoter had replaced the new desk lamp, she was in doubt about the quality of the power adapter. She asked the promoter if the power adapter could be bought, what kind of brand should be purchased, etc. At the time of the information, the promoter told her that the gadget shopping malls were not sold or brand names, and they could be purchased on the Internet or in the wholesale market.

In response to the problems reflected by consumers, the reporter visited a number of home appliance stores and large-scale supermarkets, and found that this was indeed the case. There was anything on the “omnipotent” Taobao website. Small appliance booths in major wholesale markets in Beijing could also be found. The price is not expensive either. In Beijing Guanyuan Wholesale Market, the reporter purchased a USB power adapter at a price of 10 yuan, but after returning home to try it out, it found that it would make a "click" sound when it was turned on, and it would feel hot when it was a little longer.

From this perspective, industry experts agree. Lu Jianguo, the director of the comprehensive inspection department of the National Household Electrical Appliances Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, told the reporter that there has been a problem with China's industrial system that focuses on light and spare parts. Although the home appliance industry has entered a mature period, the entire machine company has a considerable strength, the market has also transferred to a higher level of value competition, but these companies that provide parts and components for complete machine companies are mostly smaller. In addition, due to the direct sales of spare parts to complete machine companies, lack of corresponding market supervision, and some complete machine companies to reduce costs, the lack of quality parts and components assessment. All these have affected the improvement of spare parts quality and technical level, and ultimately have an impact on the whole product.

In June of this year, during a sampling inspection by the relevant regulatory authorities in Wuhan, the power cords of many products of famous brands such as Joyoung, Midea, Philips, etc. were almost unqualified because of the small cross-sectional area of ​​the power cord and potential safety hazards. . However, the above companies have clarified that all of the power cords used in their products have national compulsory certification 3C certification. The reason for this is that some local inspection stations still use the old method of “ruler scale” plus “number of logs”, which is not the method stipulated and recognized by national standards.

In this regard, Zhang Yachen, deputy chief engineer of the China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute, said that as a complete machine manufacturer, in the face of visible product quality risks, it should seek solutions from the root. For example, using in-depth on-site, third-party certification and other effective methods to strictly control the power cord suppliers and strictly control the acceptance of purchases. At the same time, the acceptance criteria for incoming inspections should be properly increased or appropriate margins should be left, etc., rather than hope. At the same time, due to the lack of spare parts standards, the parts suppliers of various home appliance manufacturing companies are different, and the types and models of spare parts provided are also varied and not common to each other. Once the spare parts are cut off, if the home appliance product in the consumer's home needs to be replaced, it will become a waste product. In addition, due to the rapid product replacement, there are many cases where spare parts cannot be found within one or two years after the product is stopped.

In addition, some spare parts manufacturing companies have developed to a certain scale, and their own requirements for transformation and upgrading, but due to the lack of standards, it is difficult for companies to find the direction of self-improvement. In response to these problems, the formulation of relevant standards for parts and components will provide a standardized unified platform for the competition of enterprises, and at the same time improve the utilization and reutilization of social resources.

Maintainability can be ensured through standards. Standardized management is used in the design and development phase of products. On the other hand, The serialization, combination, and modularization of the products improve the generalization and standardization of parts and components, and also ensure the maintainability of the products.
