The new product is based on the same size (1.25×1.00×0.60mm) as the previous product (thin film filter) of the company, and its original thin film circuit molding technology and material technology have been successfully used. The internal structure adds ESD transient voltage suppression.
Therefore, a circuit that uses a common mode filter to control noise and a varistor to achieve antistatic countermeasures or electrostatic discharge suppression can be exchanged for a new product built using the ESD function. This can reduce the number of built-in parts and reduce the mounting area, which helps mobile devices to become more compact.
The new product has a cutoff frequency of 5.0 GHz, a common mode impedance of 90 ± 25 Ω, and a rated current of 100 mA. ESD durability meets the international surge specification IEC61000-4-2. In addition, the implementation of low-capacity makes the product have no effect on the impedance (TDR measurement), and is most suitable for high-speed interfaces such as HDMI (High Definition Multimedia).
