According to a report released by DRAMeXchange, the global memory particle market analysis agency, the price of DDR3 memory chips still slumped in the first half of December. After a 13.35% price cut in the second half of November, the contract price of 1Gb DDR3 particles fell 10.66% in the two weeks before December.
At present, the international market price of 2GB DDR3 memory has dropped to 20 US dollars, which is a 9.09% decrease from the previous quarter. The price trend in the domestic market is basically similar. The price of 2GB DDR3 1333MHz memory has dropped to 130-140 RMB, and there is a tendency to march towards the price of 2GB of cabbage.
DRAMeXchange also stated that the price of 1Gb DDR2 particles has been maintained in the range of 1.16 to 1.28 US dollars since the second half of November, resulting in the current market price of 2Gb DDR2 memory has been around 22 US dollars. There is no major change in the prices of other old-size memory chips, such as 128Mb SDRAM and 256Mb DDR chips, which are priced at $0.65 and $0.86, respectively.
