State Grid's first 500 kV smart substation "green energy" added power

State Grid's first 500 kV smart substation "green energy" added power The 500 kV Lanxi Transformer is the first 500 kV smart substation in the State Grid. As of April 11th, the rooftop PV power plant has exceeded 5000 kWh to 5042 kWh, adding green power to the stable operation of the substation.

The 500 kV Lanxi Transformer is located in Sanfeng Diankou Village, Huangdian Town, Lanxi City, Jinhua, Zhejiang, covering an area of 99.7 acres. In 2010, the State Grid Corporation of China took the goal of building a strong smart grid, and adopted the principle of “unified planning, uniform standards, and unified construction”. In line with the idea of “safety, pragmatic, innovative, and step-by-step implementation,” the station was Intelligent upgrade.

The construction of rooftop photovoltaic power station is one of the contents of the intelligent upgrading of the station. Photovoltaic power stations are installed on the roof of the main control room, with an area of about 200 square meters, an installed capacity of 20.8 kilowatts, and an annual generating capacity of 20,000 kilowatt-hours.

Photovoltaic power generation system introduces solar panels and rooftop photovoltaic power generation technology, mainly composed of solar panels, inverters, solar DC distribution boxes, solar power regulator controllers, environmental monitoring systems, data collectors, and backflow prevention devices.

When the system has sunshine during the daytime, the photovoltaic effect of the solar cell is utilized to directly convert the solar radiation energy into direct current electric energy, and then converted into alternating current electric energy through an inverter.

"When the system is normal, it will be incorporated into the electrical operation. In case of emergency, the DC system can be charged to realize the emergency backup function of the power system. At the same time, with the use of LED lighting and low-power metal halide lamps, the green of the whole station is realized. Lighting." The person in charge of the station introduced.

The rooftop photovoltaic power generation system makes full use of the low-carbon, environmentally-friendly solar green energy. It not only has the advantages of not occupying expensive land, reducing construction costs, and avoiding or reducing power transmission and distribution losses within the station, but also does not cause greenhouse gases. Emissions, with good environmental benefits.

The stable operation of the system further improves the reliability and availability of power supply for the lighting system and even the entire auxiliary system at the station level. At the same time, the system's first 500kV smart substation in the State Grid has passed an energy saving, environmental protection, and green construction concept, providing a good demonstration for the further promotion and application of solar photovoltaic power generation in the smart grid.

Audio Extractor is a HDMI device that can extract the audio from HDMI signal. The audio can be out to optical / toslink / fibre  coaxial or R/L 3.5mm. So you can connect to your sound system, earphone headset etc. We now have audio extractor with HDMI V1.4 V1.3 V2.0 support 4K@30hz 1080P 3D

Here is how to use it:

1. Keep the power off – When it comes to cabling, always make sure you have the power off to start. In most cases, if you connect and disconnect cables while the power is on for any device, you probably won`t cause any damage. But, if you keep the power off, you are 100% sure you won`t damage any of the cables while connecting or disconnecting. Leave it off so you don`t find yourself having to purchase replacement cables and devices.
2. Make sure you have the right HDMI cables – If you`re the minimalist type and have that ancient cable from several years ago, make sure you have a high-speed HDMI cable. Also, keep in mind you`ll need 2 cables – one for input, and one for output.
3. Check that you have the right audio cables – you can output SPDIF (Sony/Phillips Digital Interconnect Format) using toslink fiber optic audio cables or digital audio coaxial RCA cables, or output analog using  3.5 mm stereo cables.
Connect all cabling – Depending on your setup, connect the HDMI cables and the audio cables.
4. Connect the power cable – Now that all the other cabling is connected, connect the power. If you noticed you made a mistake with your other cabling, make sure to disconnect the power cable first.
5. Find the right input channels – Okay – you`ve done all the hard labor. Now it`s time to find the right input channels on the various devices you`ve connected.
