According to reports, the Lu Cai Ping wind farm is located in Zhushi Township, Hezhang County, Bijie Prefecture. It is a wind power plant invested by Huaneng Hezhang Wind Power Co., Ltd. under the plan of the Provincial Economic and Information Commission. The installed capacity of the wind farm is 150 MW in the long-range plan, of which 49.5 megawatts are planned for the first phase of the project, and 33 units with a single capacity of 1.5 megawatts are designed and installed. The annual generating capacity of each unit can reach more than 2 million kWh (degrees). According to the microscopic site selection, the wind turbines are optimally arranged at different locations, and the electricity generated by the wind turbines is collected by a 35 kV bus line to a 110 kV supporting booster station and transmitted via the overhead lines to the Zhuhai Substation, Bijie Power Supply Bureau. Volt systems are transported by the regional distribution network of Bijie Power Supply Bureau.
The Luepingping wind farm is the first 50 MW wind farm in Guizhou Province. After the project is completed and put into production, it can provide electricity for the Guizhou power grid of 92.13 million kWh per year (degrees). According to the calculation of thermal power plants with the same power generation capacity, 32,200 tons of standard coal can be saved each year, and 640.5 tons of sulfur dioxide, 103,000 tons of carbon monoxide, and 84,000 tons of carbon dioxide can be reduced accordingly.
It is reported that during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, Guizhou will have more wind turbines put into operation one after another.
