Oscilloscope probe manufacturing method

Second, cable processing and connection methods

(1) Take a 75Ω video cable with a length of 1m and an outer diameter of 3.5mm. The core wire is preferably a single copper wire with a diameter of 0.4mm.

(2) Peel off the plastic skin at 150 mm from the end face, and then pass the root of the inner core of the plastic core from the braided separator, as shown in Fig. 4.

(3) Peel off the inner plastic cladding layer 25mm away from the root, expose the bare copper wire, take about 36mm long and apply tin, and cut off the rest, as shown in Figure 4.

(5) Find a pinned wire of a small gold-powered triode with a length of about 23 mm and a diameter of 0.3-0.4 mm. It is a gold-plated alloy wire that is hard and flexible. The wire and the cable core are welded to the exposed bare conductor of the chuck, and the soft plastic tube 3 is first placed on the outer sleeve 1, and then the tapered sleeve 4 is screwed on the outer sleeve 1 to expose the wire to the tip 3 ~4mm, and then bent into a hook with a needle-nosed pliers, as shown in Figure 2, as a hook connected to the point to be measured during the test.

(6) Take a heat shrinkable sleeve of 85mm length, inner diameter of 6~7mm and wall thickness of 0.5mm, and cover the outer surface of 2, so that the end face covers the ground lead hole, the end face is about 6mm from the center of the hole, and then the sleeve The tube portion is evenly heated on the kerosene lamp cover, and the heat-shrink tube will be in close contact with the outer wall of the cable 2, as shown in FIG.

(7) The other end of the cable can be soldered with a lotus plug as the input terminal for plugging in with the oscilloscope. If the input socket of the oscilloscope is a Q9 socket, a lotus and Q9 adapter plug can be connected.

Two voltage dividing resistors can be placed in the inner sleeve 2, as shown in Fig. 5, and the resistor is preferably small in size. However, this resistor divider can only measure low frequency voltage below 1MHz. When testing high frequency voltage above HF, the capacitor divider compensator must be set at the same time, otherwise the measurement result is not accurate.
