Development of photovoltaic power plants up to a million reward

Individuals and companies developing PV power stations will receive more subsidies. The Supplementary Notice of the General Office of the People's Government of Hefei Municipality on Further Accelerating the Promotion and Application of Photovoltaic Solar Cells (hereinafter referred to as the “Supplementary Notice”) was officially issued. In the future, the subsidy standard for family-owned photovoltaic power plants will be further improved. In addition, new non-residential residential buildings, industrial buildings and municipal facilities with an area of ​​more than 1,000 square meters can be used to take photovoltaic power station construction into consideration.

The one-watt subsidy for family-type photovoltaic power plants is 3 yuan. Hefei is the first city in the country to issue photovoltaic subsidy policies. Last year, the “Implementation Opinions on Accelerating Photovoltaic Applications for Promoting the Development of Photovoltaic Industry” promulgated by the Hefei Municipal Government clearly stipulates that for households to invest in photovoltaic power generation. Projects, enterprises and public institutions will build a photovoltaic parking lot (shed) project. After the project is put into use and the experience is accepted, it will be given a one-off subsidy of 2 yuan per watt according to the installed capacity.

According to the Supplementary Notice, this subsidy standard has been raised once more. After March 1, 2014, urban residents in the city use the photovoltaic module products in the promotion catalog and build a grid-connected family-owned photovoltaic power plant. The municipal finance will provide a one-off subsidy of 3 yuan per watt according to the installed capacity. Not more than 15,000 yuan, the subsidy standard has been increased by half.

For the Feidong County, Feixi County, Changfeng County, Qijiang County, and Chaohu City, households using photovoltaic modules in the Catalogue, and family-connected photovoltaic power plants built into the grid, this subsidy standard is higher. The city will provide farmers with a one-time subsidy of 4 yuan per watt according to the installed capacity, and the maximum subsidy for a single power station will not exceed 20,000 yuan.

The development and application of photovoltaic power plants with up to 1 million solar PV awards won't only require the understanding and support of ordinary citizens, but also require the lead of large companies. For those companies that prioritize the development of photovoltaic power plants, Hefei City will give them a "heavy gold" to reward them.

According to the “Supplemental Notice”, after July 1, 2014, for rooftop photovoltaic power plant projects with an installed capacity of more than 0.1 MW and completed and connected to the grid, the city will give the roof property owner a one-off value of 100,000 yuan/MW according to the installed capacity. Rewards, individual project awards do not exceed 600,000 yuan, and the same roof property owners reward no more than 1 million yuan.

For the distributed power station projects that use photovoltaic components and inverter products in the promotion catalogue and are built and connected to the grid, based on the city-level power subsidies, the city will provide a one-time investment to power station investors at a price of RMB 2 per unit. Watts project subsidies, single project subsidies do not exceed 1 million.
