From the very beginning, we have focused on the technical development of high-power LEDs and high-brightness LED epitaxial chips. Especially in the past three years, our product technology has improved very fast. The luminous efficiency has grown from the initial 40 lumens per watt to the present 110. With lumens per watt, laboratory data can reach 120 lumens per watt. This is very leading in the domestic brands.

Our company's development-oriented market is high-power and high-brightness LED chips in semiconductor lighting. We often have our own intellectual property and core technologies, and we have a complete technical team. The entire company's investment has grown from less than 10 million US dollars. Our main products are blue LED chips from 0.5W, 1W to 3w for white and commercial lighting. At present, LED itself has some problems, such as heat dissipation and light decay. Many LED lamps, especially LED street lamps, use a single 1W light source. If you use LED module light source, isn't it better to solve the heat dissipation? Where is the advantage of the module light source?

This question is very good. In fact, these two technical routes are not contradictory. So far, we still choose whether the light source is a single 1W package or a module light source package according to the customer's environment and the requirements of the lamps. Form, I believe that these two technical directions are complementary.

But with the advancement of LED chip technology, you can imagine that when the luminous efficiency is increased by 10%, the heat problem is actually reduced by 10%. The development of LED chip technology is quite rapid. When the luminous efficiency reaches 130 lumens per watt-150 lumens per watt, the heat is getting less and less, and the heat dissipation problem becomes more and more easy to solve. In fact, the middle and upper reaches are mastered. The core strengths are also here. Through technological advancement, downstream packaging and LED lighting application manufacturers will not encounter too much difficulty in application and heat dissipation and do not need to make too much investment.

The development of the LED industry, in fact, the middle and upper reaches of the enterprise is controlling the ultimate core power and technology. My view is that when the luminous efficiency of the LED chip reaches 130 lumens per watt, the application of the module light source will become larger and larger. Because with the improvement of LED luminous efficiency, thermal problems and other series of problems have become less serious. Of course, the application of the module light source is not a simple assembly of imagination, in fact, it is the added value provided by the chip enterprise, and the module is designed for the end customer. From the beginning of the chip to provide optical, electrical and matching solutions, which is what we call ODM, this is the first proposed by microcrystals. As a government guidance, this time needs to be very important and critical.
