Belden Inc., a global leader in mission-critical signaling solutions, has launched the LioN-Link EtherNet/IP bus coupler as part of its Lumberg AutomaTIon fieldbus system. This new product is designed to simplify integration with industrial networks, offering flexible connectivity that makes system updates more efficient and straightforward.
The single I/O module supports a variety of field wiring configurations, offering numerous setup options and enabling remote access. Standardized and unique wiring components provide exceptional flexibility, making it ideal for even the most complex industrial applications.
"EtherNet/IP is becoming increasingly popular, and our new bus couplers are set to become a go-to solution for engineers, integrators, and machine builders," said Tol Hauert, Product Manager at Belden. "With flexible interface options and no need for special cables or connectors, installation is quick and simple—just connect the coupler to the network and start using it right away."
The LioN-Link system offers streamlined connectivity between the full fieldbus system and standalone I/O modules. These components are lightweight and space-efficient, while each bus coupler comes with integrated software for communication with web servers, real-time data access, and diagnostics throughout the production process.
Each bus coupler can connect up to 30 I/O modules across two lines, with 15 devices per line. The lines can be extended up to 100 meters—double the distance of similar products on the market.
