Today, instead of talking about the industry as a whole, let's talk about *you and me* — the people who have stayed committed, worked hard, and helped push the VR industry forward.
Throughout this journey, VR Network has stood side by side with everyone, witnessing the highs and lows of the VR industry. Along the way, we’ve met many passionate and creative partners — small but mighty.
We’re grateful for your support that has helped build what VR Network is today. Your presence and efforts have played a big role in driving the industry forward.
There are many names that stand out: Chen Ke-da from 913VR (a phone stand enthusiast), Dan Brother from the net, and the two dogs from VR BiaoBiao. There’s also Tian Jie from VR Art Network — all of them have been dedicated to the VR media scene.
Among the ZVR family, Xiao Xia (graceful and elegant), Meng Ke He He (recent WeChat updates are amazing!), and my favorite Jiao Kun (so cute, definitely a blue child). Then there's the brother from PENGJi network, Guo Zunhe from STEPVR (who wrote an incredible article about Yun Xiaolong), and Qing pupil (naughty Chi) and his family with their thirty-pound flowers. “Tiger†is always gentle, and the green boss Zhang is very kind — when I was in Yunnan, he treated me like a real fan.
Many VRCORE partners have contributed to excellent VR content. Sugi, the director of Red and Black Silk, is so busy he couldn’t even join the dinner (why didn’t you eat after dinner?!). And Xiao Yu, who doesn’t eat spicy food, is already getting better.
Ma Chi from Happy Entertainment, Shao Qing from the VR movie "Window," and Tianyi from Pinta, who recently won the Best VR Work award for "The Old Man Who Picked the Dream." The little card is really growing, and it’s sure to take home more awards soon.
Live fire, VR live broadcasts are burning bright. People like Wu Zeng, Mr. Li from Snail Cloud, and Xu Zhi from VR have given us stunning visual experiences. Mi Yee Technology’s Xiang Yan brought us a feast with panoramic sound and 3D audio.
Aojia Technology developed China’s first escape room VR game, "18-Story Phantom Chamber," and their silly little Xinxin (you know, the one who used to eat noodles). Good VR games need great platforms — like 7663 VR, which featured exclusive 3A titles, and Cai Wensheng’s Dream-Making Technology.
Playing online VR games naturally leads to experiencing the charm of offline VR. VR entertainment platforms like Technology Choice, Super Captain, and Music Player VR are definitely worth trying.
There’s also literacy education through Weiai Education, Dawei VR, and Xunfei Illusion. Of course, Aga College’s Liu Zong (a master of ads), and the Enlightenment Aga Academy, part of the VR industry layout under Tsinghua Qidi Holding Group.
There was Wang Jie, the first female head of 3Glasses, who launched the first domestic VR headshot. Zeng Zheng from Ant Vision, and Rina, whose sweet smile I saw yesterday. Pico Zhou, with his far-sighted vision of the VR integrated machine. Miss Sister Otsuka, whose family is two meters tall (I still remember when we met the baby seal last time), and the only tech that created VR head displays for vivo and ZTE.
As the industry continues to grow, the concept of VR+ has emerged — VR + real estate, VR + cultural creativity, and more. These innovations are making real progress for the industry. Also, Ling Yuzhi, who claims to be creating “the mouse and keyboard of the VR era,†and their famous master mouse.
Unfinished, but full of hope.
We had the privilege of entering the VR industry at its beginning. In 2017, VR Network will interview 100 VR companies or related individuals to capture the stories, emotions, challenges, and joys of this new industry. Thanks to the small companions who walked this path with us, and we look forward to welcoming more new faces on the road ahead.
