This new product builds upon the success of the existing "SPVQ9 Series," which introduced a dual-circuit sliding contact structure and has captured over 50% of the European market.
With the increasing adoption of electronic parking brake (EPB) systems in Europe, North America, and South Korea, the need for highly secure and reliable components has become critical. Traditional EPB systems often rely on two separate micro switches to ensure backup functionality. However, issues such as timing inconsistencies and contact failures due to dust or weak current can arise, especially at low speeds.
To address these challenges, the "SPVQC Series" introduces a dual-circuit sliding contact design that ensures consistent and stable operation. The movable contact always clamps the fixed contact, maintaining constant pressure throughout the entire switching range. Combined with a snap-action mechanism, this design guarantees reliable performance regardless of operating speed or position.
The product also features a compact design, with a lateral dimension reduced by 1 mm compared to previous models. It is fully compatible with reflow soldering, allowing it to be mounted alongside other peripheral components. Additionally, the SPVQC series is dustproof and waterproof, meeting the IP67 standard for enhanced durability in harsh environments.
