The box is clean and small, with no frills. At the top is Yang Jing's trademark: Matrix Audio.
The inside is also very simple, a host, a remote control, a USB, a power cord, a warranty card, a drive disk is all. The volume of the host is very small, and it can be intuitively compared with a 5-inch mobile phone.
The mainframe is black, and the appearance is squarely correct. There is nothing special about it. The corners of the machine are either round or chamfered. There are no cuts and the details are in place. It is commendable.
The front of the host is doing well. An acrylic plate covers a large part. The left side is the headphone hole and the right is the volume knob. After booting, there is a screen in the middle, which will display various information such as code rate, volume, and input source.
This machine also has three operating modes, namely decoding amp mode, decoding preamplifier mode and pure DAC mode. After turning off the power button, press and hold the volume knob to turn it on. The pure dac mode can only be line out and cannot adjust the volume. The decoded amp mode line out is shielded and can only be output from the front headphone jack. Decode the amp preamp mode, the front headphone jack and the back of the analog output have signal output, the volume knob can simultaneously control all the output volume.
Do not look at this machine is very small, but the interface is very complete. The leftmost part is the analog output area, with a set of XLR outputs and a set of RCA outputs. There is also a voltage switch on the side of the machine, which can be adjusted directly without opening the shell to support 110v or 220v.

Tested using Jinbo's Pearl 2 digital interface, A15 as a signal source, dock output USB signal to Pearl 2.
Pearl 2 outputs two digital signals at the same time, one way cheap BNC to RCA coaxial output to mojo, the other uses the Fan Dengmei AES data line transmission to Yang Jing. Mojo uses a red-and-white line of 3.5 to RCA to connect to Longquan. Yang Jing uses a pair of QED reference2 RCA signal cables to connect Longquan. Basically, Yang Jing is still a little cheaper on the wire.
Many people will feel very disdain. Why should you find a player to compare? Although I hadn't heard of this machine before, there were a few friends who had played and some had mojo. After talking to them, they still grasped the quality and the sense of hearing of this machine. This time I basically listened. My expectations.
The audition first compared two machines as pure DACs and used Longquan to drive KK. After listening to it, Yang Jing was a relatively stable voice. The three articles were relatively balanced and the sounds were relatively positive, but they had no characteristics. They were not fluent but not dry. There was nothing too obvious about the digital taste. Overall, they were not lost.
On the sound field, the width of the mojo is a little worse, the depth and height are better, and the width of Yang Jing is better, but the height and depth are almost equal to one scale level. Mojo belongs to the sound field is relatively small, Yang Jing sound field and mojo scale, It's too small. Before listening to HPA3B is also a small sound field, it is estimated that the same as chords are family traditions. On the tri-band distribution, mojo is a little bit on the side, low-frequency is not solid enough, Yang Jing's low-frequency solid, but high-frequency mojo advantage is greater, overtones and extensions are better, mid-frequency mojo more prominent. In terms of density, mojo is slightly better. On the other hand, the gap between the tunings was relatively large, and the mojo was relatively smooth and music was good. On the other hand, Yang Jing's musical sensation was relatively flat.
Basically pure as dac, Yang Jing did not discuss what is cheap, basically tuning some losses.
And when decoding amps. . . In comparison to the three views, mojo's ear was slightly better. . . The control power is better than Yang Jing. Yang Jing's ear is basically sent.
At the current level, Yang Jing’s advantage is reflected. I adjusted the volume of Langquan to near maximum, using mojo and Yang Jing to control the volume. When the volume is relatively small, mojo's dynamic and low-frequency compression is much more powerful than Yang Jing. Yang Jing's pre-class loss is relatively small, and the availability is still quite high. In addition, Yang Jing also has a pair of XLR outputs, which can be used to connect the active speakers. If you are playing an active small box, Yang Jing is still very reliable. In the same price range, it has the decoding of the predecessor. Can be described as rare, as far as I know the current similar price in addition to its upgraded version mini2pro just out of it and no other pre-flight competitors.
